This training course is aimed at anyone wishing to develop a professional career as a yoga teacher.
Training objective
You will have acquired in-depth knowledge that will enable you to harmonise body, mind and consciousness through yoga.
You will be able to teach classes at a professional level recognised by:

Acquisition of expertise
- Provide an overview of the issues involved in teaching yoga
- Identify the sources of yoga and hatha yoga
- Understand and apply the various practices described in these texts
- Differences between Western anatomy and physiology and yogic anatomy and physiology
- Manage, compare and classify texts and bibliographic material
- Provide basic knowledge of Indian culture in order to situate the origins of yoga in its original context
Practice and Teaching
- Teach yoga techniques related to postures and breathing
- Learn about the effects of relaxation on the body’s metabolism
- Experience the effects of practising postures, breathing and relaxation
- Be aware of the effects of good or bad practice
- Recognise students’ difficulties during practice
- Apply methodological techniques correctly during lessons

Essential information
Duration of training: Two cycles of 200 hours each.
Price per cycle: CHF 4,800 (payment in instalments possible on request)
Course structure: 11 weekends: 132 hours; 20 Wednesdays online: 40 hours & assignments to be submitted: 28 hours
Procedure for registration
- Submission of a complete application, which must include a CV, a cover letter, a copy of your identity card and a passport-size photograph.
- An interview is mandatory for the evaluation of your application.
- Only complete applications will be considered.
- To apply for enrolment, you must complete the Enrolment Application form.

Face-to-face weekends: 25–26 April, 9–10 & 30–31 May, 13–14 June, 27–28 June, 5–6 September, 17–18 & 24–25 October 2026. Exams: 7–8 November and 21–22 November 2026.
Online Wednesdays
Timetable:
Weekends: 9.30am–12.30pm; 1.30pm–4.30pm
Wednesdays: 7pm–8pm theory & 8pm–9pm practical lessons

FAQ
Where will Cycle 1 training be provided in 2026?
It is taught in Geneva. We offer the flexibility of taking certain courses online via the Zoom platform to accommodate the needs of our students who are unable to attend in person due to illness and upon presentation of a medical certificate.
Can I pay for the training in instalments?
Yes, we offer various instalment payment options to accommodate your budget.
Please note that the first payment, regardless of the option chosen, is always due before the start of classes.
Do you need to have a lot of experience to enrol in the Yoga Teacher Training course?
You do not need to have extensive experience in yoga to enrol in our training course. We welcome participants of all levels and are committed to providing you with comprehensive training throughout the course. Our programme is designed to support your development, whether you are a beginner or already have some experience in yoga.
What happens if I become pregnant during the training?
If you become pregnant during the course, there is no need to worry about missing classes. Upon presentation of a medical certificate, you can pause your course. You can then resume classes a few months after giving birth, depending on your health and availability.
