The prenatal and postnatal yoga training course is aimed at anyone wishing to develop a professional career as a yoga teacher, as well as healthcare professionals and expectant mothers.
The training is designed to offer an immersive learning experience, combining theory and practice for an in-depth understanding of the nuances of prenatal and postnatal yoga. The live sessions are interactive and allow for real-time exchanges with trainers, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Training objective
Exploring yoga as a complementary practice, emphasizing the importance of the yoga teacher’s role during pregnancy: a caring presence without encroaching on the medical field.
Acquisition of expertise
- Introduction to supporting pregnant women.
- The experience of constant change: physical, emotional, and hormonal.
- Concepts of the gross and subtle body (energetic and mental) and breathing as a link.
- Introduction to the practice of yoga exercises, postures, and breathing techniques applied to pregnancy.
Practice and Teaching
- First trimester. Lower back, cervical region, shoulder girdle and shoulders, feet and ankles, harmonization exercises. Wall exercises: work for the back, hips, and feet; activation of circulation in the legs.
- Second trimester. Abdominal region: recommended exercises, contraindications, general care, and gentle abdominal toning exercises. Postures and pelvic mobilization exercises. Perineal work.
- Third trimester. The moment of expulsion: pushing, contractions, proper breathing. Respectful childbirth, different types of deliveries. Breathing and visualization for pre-labor and delivery. Relaxation between contractions. Preparation for expulsion.
- Postpartum. Ankle mobilization. Mobilization of the shoulders and cervical region. Postures and relaxation exercises. Postures and exercises to relax the back. Gentle abdominal exercises. Exercises with the baby.

The curriculum
For pre- and post-natal yoga training, we offer a comprehensive and interactive course consisting of nine online sessions, each lasting two and a half hours. This flexibility allows all participants, regardless of their location, to benefit from the teaching and collective experience.
Two weeks before the training begins, you will receive a code that will give you access to all online sessions, allowing you to easily log in and fully participate in the courses.
